ALWAYS FAITHFUL TO YOU AND YOUR OWN.
We preserve military traditions while building a strong fraternity for our veterans and their loved ones. Our team fosters patriotic service and ensures every family understands the benefits and programs available to improve their quality of life. We are a nonprofit 501c3. We are all volunteers, no one is paid. EIN 42-2021087
The purpose of the MARINE SALTY DOGS is to promote the interest and preserve traditions of the United States Military; strengthen the fraternity of Veterans and their families; serve Veterans and foster the ideals of Americanism and patriotic volunteerism, and educate Veterans and their families of benefits available, and programs to enhance the wellbeing of their lives.
We are seeking dedicated volunteers to join our mission. Specifically, we need social media experts to amplify our impact and share our stories.
While monetary gifts are vital, we currently have a unique need for a box truck with a ramp or with a lift, or a heavy-duty trailer. Since we receive many large donations like appliances for our community rummage sales, having reliable transportation would streamline our ability to collect, store, and deliver these items to our events efficiently.
All money raised is used in the community. We hire locally for our events.
Our events currently include burger burns for our active duty Marines with MARDET 2249 located at Holloman AFB, NM. And the annual Marine Corps Birthday Ball, which we try to allow the active duty students to attend free of charge.
Choosing Marine Salty Dogs Inc. provides a distinct journey compared to large-scale national veteran groups. Instead of mirroring the structure of organizations like the VFW or Marine Corps League, we focus on the specific benefits of a localized, intimate brotherhood.
The Marine Salty Dogs Advantage
